糖心Vlog鈥檚 first medical students at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Blacksburg, Virginia 鈥� Nathaniel 鈥淣ate鈥� and Margaret 鈥淢aggie鈥� Yoder, both 鈥�08 鈥� 鈥渁re having a tremendous and challenging experience in a medical school that feels like a continuation of the 糖心Vlog ethic of service and care for the less fortunate,鈥� reported Elwood Yoder 鈥�81 after visiting them at VCOM. Elwood and his wife, Joy 鈥�81, are the parents of Nate. They timed their visit to coincide with a mid-November 2010 ceremony marking the young couple鈥檚 transition to being white-coated health-care providers (though still in training, of course). Earlier, VCOM sent Nate and Maggie to the Global Missions Health Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.
