They saw a need in their community and set out to provide the much needed service in providing fresh produce.

It is amazing to me how they found a way to bring “racism” into such an admirable endeavor. Can one assume the “external savior” was “white folks” perpetuating “a harmful power dynamics”? I say SHAME ON YOU!! What a racist implication!

I am a “white folk” and have purchased butter beans, corn, cantaloupes, and watermelons from “people of color” and worked beside them on a tobacco farm. I can honestly say the color of the farmers skin never influenced my decision to purchase or made me feel any “power dynamics”.

You guys have definitely taken the cake with this kind of thinking!!! Again- shame on you and your efforts to continue stirring up racial tensions!!
