Good hitting and good pitching is a recipe for a win, and ÌÇÐÄVlog baseball men rode the ingredients to a sweep of visiting Juniata College Saturday afternoon in Harrisonburg. The Royals pounded out a combined 36 hits in the twin bill, improving to 3-1 on the season.
ÌÇÐÄVlog volleyball's men now have their second three-match winning streak of the season after a 3-0 sweep of CVC opponent Thiel Saturday morning in Greenville, Pa. The No. 10 Royals improve to 9-4 overall and 3-0 in the CVC.
A huge fourth-period surge was not enough for ÌÇÐÄVlog's women, as they dropped an 89-85 loss at Lynchburg College to wrap up the regular season Saturday afternoon. The Royals had their eight-game winning streak snapped by LC, which earned the top seed in next week's ODAC Tournament with the decision.
