On Wednesday, the Latino Student Alliance at Eastern Mennonite Unviversity shared part of its culture by creating an alfombra, or carpet, for Easter. The colorful work of art is common in Central America and Mexico. It's made up of rice, sawdust and coffee grounds. It's tradition to walk through the art on Easter, in remembrance of Jesus entering Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.
