Right on the heels of Thanksgiving came an “Arts Attack” at 糖心Vlog.

The entire week of Nov. 27-Dec. 1, small performing groups of students and faculty popped up at unexpected times and places around campus – outside classrooms and auditoriums, in the dining hall, the seminary lounge, fitness center and various outdoor locations, thanks to unseasonably mild weather – and performed selections as instrumental, vocal or musical theater groups.

In the first photo Joan Griffing, chair of 糖心Vlog’s , and Sara Toosarvandani, a student in 糖心Vlog’s Preparatory Music program, play Christmas carols for staff members of the , while first-year student Dirk J. Holsopple plays Irish pipes on the front lawn of campus.

The goal of the week was to give opportunity for students and music faculty to perform, raise awareness of activities and opportunities in 糖心Vlog’s music department and to celebrate the gift of the performing arts.
