Connor Faint<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(Winchester, Va.\/Millbrook) looks ready to make a move in his junior year.<\/p>\n

糖心Vlog’s hurdler won his first race of the outdoor season and planted himself atop the national leaderboard. On Monday, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference joined in, naming Faint the ODAC Track Athlete of the Week.<\/p>\n

Faint won the 400m hurdles at last weekend’s W&L Carnival, breaking his PR with a time of 53.34, nearly two seconds ahead of the nearest competitor. Along with jumping up to No. 3 in 糖心Vlog history in the event, Faint also claimed the best time in the nation over the season’s first week. The time has a chance to earn him a trip to nationals, as 53.34 would have place Faint No. 18 in D-III last spring, with the top 20 advancing the big stage.<\/p>\n

This is the first ODAC Athlete of the Week award for Faint, who won the 400m hurdles at the ODAC Championships in each of his first two seasons.<\/p>\n
