{"id":33649,"date":"2017-05-31T12:12:34","date_gmt":"2017-05-31T16:12:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/?p=33649"},"modified":"2017-05-31T14:23:34","modified_gmt":"2017-05-31T18:23:34","slug":"reading-area-community-college-nursing-students-benefit-articulation-agreement-emu-lancaster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/2017\/reading-area-community-college-nursing-students-benefit-articulation-agreement-emu-lancaster\/","title":{"rendered":"Reading Area Community College nursing students benefit from articulation agreement with 糖心Vlog Lancaster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Graduates of Reading Area Community College (RACC)&#8217;s associate&#8217;s degree in nursing program will have a seamless transition to 糖心Vlog (糖心Vlog) at Lancaster&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emu.edu\/lancaster\/nursing\/rn-bsn\/reading-area-community-college\/\">Bachelor of Science in Nursing program<\/a>, according to a new articulation agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed May 25 during a formal ceremony in the Yokum Library on the RACC campus.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"highlight highlight-right\">Learn more about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emu.edu\/lancaster\/nursing\/rn-bsn\/reading-area-community-college\/\">BSN degree completion<\/a> for RACC graduates.<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cThe degree completion pathway represented by this agreement promises to support the educational and career goals of nursing students, providing resources and information they need to utilize their time and tuition dollars effectively and efficiently, \u201c says Dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emu.edu\/personnel\/people\/show\/mzj2648\">Mary Jensen<\/a>, associate provost of 糖心Vlog at Lancaster.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe at RACC are pleased to formally enter into this articulation agreement with 糖心Vlog. It means increased access and opportunity for our RACC students and clearly defines a new pathway to success through 糖心Vlog\u2019s nursing program,\u201d says RACC President Dr. Anna Weitz.<\/p>\n<p>In Pennsylvania, graduates with an associate&#8217;s degree in nursing articulate to universities for a bachelor&#8217;s and\/or master&#8217;s degree. Articulation is different from transferring, according to a joint release of the two institutions.
