{"id":43255,"date":"2019-09-19T11:32:14","date_gmt":"2019-09-19T15:32:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/?p=43255"},"modified":"2019-09-30T09:34:48","modified_gmt":"2019-09-30T13:34:48","slug":"emu-ranked-among-best-of-the-south-in-u-s-news-and-world-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/2019\/emu-ranked-among-best-of-the-south-in-u-s-news-and-world-report\/","title":{"rendered":"糖心Vlog ranked among best of the South in U.S. News and World Report"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>糖心Vlog is ranked among the Best Regional Universities in the South and has earned additional accolades in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/best-colleges\">U.S. News and World Report\u2019s recently released 2020 Best Colleges rankings<\/a>.<br \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The publication released the rankings on Sept. 9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>糖心Vlog\u2019s other recognitions as a regional university in the South include a ranking as a <strong>Best Value School<\/strong>, among the <strong>Top Performers on Social Mobility<\/strong>, and a ranking as a <strong>Least Debt Class of 2017 University<\/strong>.<br \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRankings such as these validate our commitment to superb educational experiences that prepare all students for fulfilling lives and careers in their communities,\u201d said President Susan Schultz Huxman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For its 35th annual rankings, U.S. News and World Report  collected data from 1,400 colleges and universities, considering academic quality and outcome measures, such as graduation rates, retention rates and social mobility, according to its press release.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The annual U.S. News and World Report rankings top a growing list of recognitions. 糖心Vlog was recently listed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/2019\/emu-ranked-among-sierra-clubs-cool-schools\/\">Sierra Club as a \u201cCool School\u201d<\/a> for its dedication to sustainability and environmentalism.
