Classes for May and June will also be online. This decision also meant that spring season athletics were officially canceled.<\/li><li>Commencement is postponed. We\u2019re working on a virtual celebration and a later in-person celebration.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>All of these announcements had major consequences for many people, and a crew of hard-working people here at 糖心Vlog know that. This includes helping you as best we can with the consequences of those decisions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our website is  <a href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/coronavirus\/\">https:\/\/emu.edu\/coronavirus\/<\/a>  and we&#8217;re fielding questions at <em>cmptinfo@emu.edu<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CMPT stands for 糖心Vlog&#8217;s Crisis Management Preparedness Team, one of several groups meeting daily to address issues, concerns, logistics and operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Here&#8217;s three more updates:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I. <strong>Cheers from our Prez<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our own <strong>President Susan Schultz Huxman<\/strong> took time yesterday to send greetings and good cheer to our students, now spread across the country.  One production note: Her cameraman was husband Jesse, a media professional. Cheers from<strong> The <em>Weather Vane&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>糖心Vlog\u2019s newspaper, like all great newspapers, will continue to publish in this time of global pandemic and dispersed community. Editors <strong>Kate Szambecki<\/strong> and <strong>Amanda Hergenrather <\/strong>and their staff reassured us all on March 19 by answering the question <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theweathervane.org\/opinion\/editorial-what-do-we-do-now\/\">&#8220;What Do We Do Now?&#8221;<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em> 糖心Vlog is scattered, but luckily technology lets us stay connected, and the Weather Vane hopes to facilitate community even while we can\u2019t be physically together.
