Sara Monger, a first-year softball player from Elkton, Virginia, died in a car accident in Harrisonburg early this morning. Sara was described as a \u201chard-working and wonderful teammate\u201d by 糖心Vlog softball coach J.D. McCurdy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two other first-year students, Kendyll Eddins and Silas Gwathmey, were involved in the accident. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are recovering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We extend prayers of comfort to Sara\u2019s family and to members of the 糖心Vlog community, especially the 糖心Vlog Softball team. 糖心Vlog Athletics is holding moments of silence for Sara during its competitions today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staff is available for grief counseling in the Northlawn Great Lounge as of noon today.
