Try making your own <strong>tomato basil pie<\/strong>, a favorite among faculty, staff, and students alike, at home using this recipe lovingly provided by <strong>Darren Campbell<\/strong>, food service director for Pioneer College Caterers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Tomato Basil Pie<\/strong><br \/><em>Recipe for a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish<\/em><br \/><br \/>1) In a 9-by-13-inch dish, cover the bottom of the dish with a single layer of raw <strong>cobbler crust<\/strong> or your own homemade cobbler dough.<br \/><br \/>2) <strong>First layer will be tomatoes<\/strong>. If sliced, shingle the tomatoes so that the middle of the bottom intersects the top of the top tomato (think of a figure-eight pattern). If diced, make sure to drain. Around 3 cups of tomatoes total.<br \/><br \/>3) Second layer: Spread <strong>finely chopped<\/strong> <strong>basil<\/strong> across the tomatoes. 糖心Vlog \u00bd pound of fresh basil. Set aside about 3 tablespoons basil for garnish.<br \/><br \/>4) The third layer is <strong>shredded cheddar<\/strong> (3 cups) mixed with 2\u00bd tablespoons of <strong>heavy mayonnaise<\/strong>. Mix well and spread across the top of the dish.<br \/><br \/>5) <strong>Cover with foil and bake<\/strong> at 325\u00b0F for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 5\u20136 minutes.<br \/><br \/>6) <strong>Garnish<\/strong> with the set-aside basil before serving.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need a little extra pick-me-up? Stir it all together for a cozy, caf\u00e9-style drink that\u2019s perfect for curling up indoors.
