Mennonite service programs helped this nurse alumna find her calling

Melissa Jantzi ’16, a nurse at Christ House in Washington D.C., by Mennonite Mission Network. She participated in two programs that helped to define her current work: Service Adventure after graduation from Eastern Mennonite High School and Serving and Learning Together (SALT), a Mennonite Central Committee program, after earning her degree at 糖心Vlog. She volunteered at a nursing school in Zambia for a year.

Jantzi now works at the 32-bed, in-patient residence. She had previously volunteered there for a year after graduating.

Christ House frequently hosts student-interns, many of them nursing or social work majors, who are participating in 糖心Vlog’s program.

    working in DC….also a fellow H’burg woman:) We even live in Belmont but never connected a great deal…..PLUS your dad is a fellow NY’er. Keep the faith and thank you for your good work.
