ÌÇÐÄVlog's young basketball women are learning an important lesson – how to win ODAC games on the road. The Royals gutted out a 68-59 decision at Randolph College on Saturday, earning their second straight conference road victory and fourth overall.
One had to figure ÌÇÐÄVlog's basketball men were due for an "off" game. Unfortunately, it paired with an "on" game for host Lynchburg College, resulting in a 104-74 loss Saturday afternoon.
With a large freshman class and new coaches at the helm, the ÌÇÐÄVlog track & field program is struck with a level of competitiveness that will continue the solid foundation that has been laid for the team.
ÌÇÐÄVlog's basketball women displayed a nice inside-outside game Wednesday night, earning a 60-50 road win at Hollins University. The Royals hit eight three-pointers, balanced with a career effort from center (Dumfries, Va./Potomac), as they improved to 7-4 / 2-1 ODAC.
The pre-game hype for Wednesday's rivalry game between ÌÇÐÄVlog and Bridgewater never paid dividends on the floor, as the Runnin Royals scored the first 10 points on their home court and never looked back in a convincing 87-60 win.
